Our fitters have done a fantastic job in Walton-le-Dale; they’ve fitted Karndean Knight Tile KP90 Honey Maple flooring throughout the ground floor. Starting in the hallway through to the kitchen and completed the floor in the dining room. The honey maple design is a pale wood with an almost luminescent hue, with a detailed grain and it incorporates, knots and cross grains to give that authentic feel. The stairs were fitted with a Jubilee Stripe carpet in colours of black, grey and white. I think you’ll agree the final finish looks stunning.

We’ve just completed a beautiful Karndean floor in Preston. The hallway includes a double border using RP 11 Da Vinci tiles, the detailing is fantastic. As you can see from the pictures, our experienced fitters have put a lot of time and effort in to create the border. “The borders are fitted first to create the frame, this is the most time consuming part of the project” I was told. Once the borders are complete, the main body of the floor can be matched, cut and laid.

This is our first video and we hope you like it. It's a tour of the showroom at Lune Street in Preston. Customers visiting the showroom often don't realize there are two further floors to explore other than the flooring rooms on the ground floor. Once you venture upstairs you'll find beautiful bedroom furniture on the first floor and solid oak dining and living room furniture on the second. There are also lots of clocks, mirrors, ornaments and unusual items to be discovered; it's a real Aladdin’s cave.

Our fitters worked particularly hard on this Karndean installation. The floor required quite a lot of preparation work, with the old floor having been down for years and years with layers of vinyl ontop of one another. All of which needed to come up and needed quite a bit of chiselling.

Preparation Is Key To A Quality Finish.

Fitting a Karndean floor is all about the preparation, as you can see from our photographs this took quite some time, but the preparation layer looks fantastic.    All the hard work has paid off as you can see in the 'main' photographs above. The Karndean warm oak floor has been fitted to perfection and our customers Mr & Mrs Casey were overjoyed with the results.
